He was a columnist and literary critic at Vanity Fair, Slate, The Atlantic, World Affairs, The Nation, Free Inquiry and a variety of other media outlets. He was named one of the world's "Top 100 Public Intellectuals" by Foreign Policy and Britain's Prospect.

People in the US are not allowed to see Newsnight on the web using the BBC player. If anyone can figure out how to save and download this onto Youtube etc., it would be greatly appreciated. It should be a good interview.

Hitchens: They say i have cancer of the esophagus because ive used that organ for blaspheme. Ive used a lot of other organs for blaspheme as well.

Find a uk based proxy server and go on BBC iplayer through the proxy and you should be able to watch it
