Give one to Hitchens!!
Judging by photos from the Waterloo debate, he looks pretty much the same now, only with a bit more hair...:)
Hope all progress is positive from here on!!

I wish you well and hope you're getting the best treatment.
I try not to be superficial but...it's good to see he is still such a handsome guy:)I'm really glad he regrew the beard when he could. Bearded Hitch is unsinkable!!!
I met Mr. Hitchens in Atlanta during his "God is not great" tour, however he had me as a fan when he appeared on the defunct "Firing Line", sandwiched, as it were between Wm F.Buckley and R. Emmett Tyrrel, to formidable conservatives. Hitch was a liberal back then but held his own and might have even won the heated discussion. I have followed him ever since and if he dies, as we all will, I will miss him like a brother. I have tried awful hard to find a substitute for him, e.g., Amis, Beck, even lesser literati as O'reilly and hannity, alas though, in the finaly analysis, in the forgetful lyrics of Sinead O'Connor, "Nothin compares to you." And nothing compares to Hitch, with one exception, Oscar Wilde, but he died as well. James Studdard, ATL GA
"Nothing Compares 2 U" was actually written by Prince ;)
Long live Hitchens even after his final breath, not in a false heaven, but in the very real sense within our hearts and minds because of his contribution to the human race.

You are being prayed for sir. Much love.
Having made us think, having forced us to face within and think, has made you beloved to us. People just want you to know this, now so you're enveloped in a love that will carry you to the next journey.
@James Studdard
"Literati as O'Reilly and Hannity"?
Good lord, man. I don't think you'll find a substitute for Hitch among that herd of substandard TV personalities.
MR HITCHENS , I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW HOW MUCH YOU ARE APPRECIATED IN CROATIA . TO ME YOU ARE A TRUE LEADER AND A GREAT THINKER . THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE AND HOPE TO HEAR YOUR VOICE SOON . LONG LIVE THE HITCH !!!
DARIO ANTIĆ , ZAGREB , CROATIA
thank you sir for enriching my life. i have and will always appreciate and respect you for this. sincerely, stephen
As the young prince in "The King And I", plaintively pleads with his departing teacher. "Do not leave us Mrs Anna...who will teach us if you go". Yes, indeed, who will teach us? Perhaps a column on what your vision is of our dismal future would be very useful. Thank you for all your enlightenment Chris...
I listened to God Is Not Great on audio book, read by the author, no less than 8 times and literally fell in love with the man, however maintaining platonic intentions! Jk. The wit, insight, wisdom was at times overwhelming . . .er, breathtaking, as he would say. I quote him at every turn. He wrote in his memoir, Hitch 22, to write that letter of well wishes or sympathy when the sentiment surfaces. Well here is mine Mr. Hitchens. I, and many, many grateful, thinking people wish you well. Very, very well. Please stay strong and keep the faith; in reason, logic, science and our ability to lead our fellow mammals to brighter future.
These photos are very comforting to me. I think of Hitchens often and my life has been enriched with his unique mind.
he looks great! I am glad to see this pictures and learned he is doing well with the treatment, I hope he get well soon, we love you Hitch,
