The Australian:
Next week on Lateline, author and journalist Christopher Hitchens talks frankly about his battle with cancer, his treatment and its impact.
In a Tony Jones special interview recorded in Washington, Hitchens talks about his legacy as a writer and what an early death will potentially rob him of. He is 61.
He also talks extensively about American and international politics, reflecting on many of the themes covered in his recent memoir, Hitch22.
Next week on Lateline with Tony Jones – Wednesday, November 17 and Thursday, November 18 at 10.30pm on ABC1.
What can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof.

Looking forward to it:)
Does this air in the U.S. as well? I've never heard of it.
What time is that GMT?
Hopefully someone records/YouTubes that.
I believe the program will be available to watch in the States on this website:

I'm actually going to be in Sydney next week. Does anyone know where this show tapes? If Hitch will be there live? and if it's in Sydney, do they tape in front of a live audience?
Doug, "interview recorded in Washington".
bummer...thanks

What about us, Christopher? We will be hurt more than you if you leave too soon. Damnit! I, in my naive isolation, only learned of you at TAM5. I have read everything that you have said or written since then. I am still trying to catch up with all of the rest from before that. Why don't you just hang around for a while, chrome dome?
