He was a columnist and literary critic at Vanity Fair, Slate, The Atlantic, World Affairs, The Nation, Free Inquiry and a variety of other media outlets. He was named one of the world's "Top 100 Public Intellectuals" by Foreign Policy and Britain's Prospect.

Where is part 4?
Christopher will be on CNN Anderson Cooper's 360 tonight. There is a preview on the web page. He looks good, but has lost his hair.
Thanks for the heads up on the Anderson Cooper - will download when available. Did anyone else notice the reference to souls or bodies? I don't remember Christopher ever mentioning 'soul' that way before but I just may have missed it. Anyone?
Part 4 is now right there along with the rest. I looked and searched before with no result. I thank whoever fixed it.
