Of course I love these videos and they are very welcome...so I hesitate to make any complaint. But I will. Why are they so heavily edited?? Some people's speeches seem to be cut off in the middle?? Is there anywhere we can see the entire presentation?

I was there. The videos are hardly edited. The only thing cut out is introductions, for streamlining.

somebody put this videos on youtube please,I can't watch them online neither download them from vanityfair

The videos seem to be missing the bits by his family.
His wife and son were supposed to speak, I know his brother did.
Perhaps those speeches were felt to be more personal.
How wonderful to have been there.

Christopher was a great, brilliant man and he was probably the best speaker Ive ever known.

I can imagine that his family (wife and children) wants some privacy. So noone should mind if they are not on the stream.

With all due respect - the brother isnt half as smart, respectable or honorable as Christopher was. Its not worth watching him. In fact - whenever I hear him talk I feel my blood pressure raise.

Cheers

They did, look at part five. Although I agree with the commenter above - they should have left this unedited, because it just looks choppy. Very nice tributes by everyone.

At the foot of the screen, use the arrow to move the menu of clips along to the right. The family clip is clip #5 and the eulogy from Martin Amis is a separate clip. They're all there. Try these direct links:

His wife, son, and brother all spoke. His wife and son both read from "Young Contrarian". His brother read a passage from the Bible (i cannot recall which) but it was also the passage the Hitch chose to read at their father's funeral
